Nimbie USB:
Have just set up this on my PC to rip my collection . Have issue with the USB port, it only works as long as I don't have anyother USB drives on the system . WD Mybook, goes off line when this is plugged in. ( which is where my music is stored ) . At present ripping to internal drive and them moving, works well, but needed WMP in the rip window for this to work.

My Apus-EZ PLUS 5910 began jamming, then feeding multiple discs. I would power it down to reset it. Now it makes a motor running sound during initialization and after the arm has attempted to remove stray discs and won't complete initialization. It stops with the Ready light blinking. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I have been attempting to make our brand new NB11LS burn for three days. I am an MCSE, CCNA, and have decades of electromechanical, electrical, electronic, and software troubleshooting experience. Despite attempts with three computers, three operating systems, multiple mains power connections, multiple USB cables, multiple software installations to each computer - after complete uninstallation - the Nimbie has yet to burn a single DVD. What would you do as a customer with this machine?

Does your software/hardware allow me to burn the contents of each folder in turn without having to create isos and then cue them in imgburn? I would like to set a machine up come back to find 100 completely different data DVDs finished. Does you hardware do this? Thanks, Tim

I am unable to get reliable operation. Limited and poorly translated documentation does not help. Nimbie may or may not properly initialize, will accept a disc to rip but not rip or not eject or will rip a few discs and then stall either not ejecting the disc or ejecting it and refusing to load another. I wish I could give you a specific problem but so far nothing I have been able to do will reproduce a repeatable outcome. Is there tech support available anywhere to help me track down a resolve issues related to operation?

Hi, I work for a company that supplies inksystems for Epson printers. We supply custom ICC profiles and installation disks with each system and it takes an eternity to print and burn disks. I've been looking at your Nimbie products and I was wondering how the sidekick worked. The bit I don't understand is how you get the sidekick to feed multiple disks into the printer and make it print. When using Epson burn cd the printer needs manual imput to print after a printed cd has been removed from the printer and a blank one is put in it's place to be printed to. The orange light on a P50 will show up over the feed/cancel button. How is this remedied? Regards, Christian collins Ink Express Unit 20, Fallings Park Ind. This worked for the first 50+/- discs fine. Now when I load one disc (it fails with more, but wanted to eliminate variables) the NB11 does it's clicking thing, opens the drive tray, drops the DVD into the tray and then immediately lights the red error light. I've tried resetting the power as well as rebooting the PC running the software controlling the device. I doubt it makes a difference, but I'm using MyMovies to control the NB11.

My Acronova APUS EZ is now jamming very frequently (about every 5 discs) when the arm is trying to REMOVE the CD from the tray after it is burned. It looks like it is getting jammed under the little metal spring tab thing that touches the CD drawer when it fully extends. The arm gets stuck and the CD hangs, seemingly wedged in the CD drawer, and around that spring, but I can't seem to tell where, and I can't seem to do anything to stop it. This is WITH ANY AND ALL BRAND CDs. Changing brands DID NOT HELP THIS. It is jamming like this regularly, with ANY brand of CD, and I cannot leave the machine alone, which, given this problem, I might as well be duplicating CDs on a laptop, because it's just as quick when I'm spending all this time unjamming and starting over! What do I need to do? Thanks! Steve Hacker stevejhacker@yahoo.com 229-416-8340 128 Kelley Rd. Bainbridge, Georgia 39817

Hi, I just got my Nimbie NB11. It runs fine in command mode with QQboxx, but when I want to use it in Gettray Mode (for using it as an external drive or using other software for burning/lightscribe) it doesn't work. I can't enter gettray mode: When I turn the unit on and press "unload" to enter get tray mode, the red error light turns on. After initialisation it stays lit, "gettray" flashes and the unit won'T accept any commands until I turn it off, turn it on again and let it enter Coammnd Mode: I tried it 10 times now with different ways/times to keep "unload" pressed - it's either too late and the unit is already in command mode or it's on time but it will turn on the rror light. So what can I do to use Gettray mode? Thanks for your answer and cheers, Holger

I have the full version of Nero 10 installed, but the QQHandy Plugin won't work. When will you release an update for it to work with Nero 9 or 10? Do other professionel burning programs (like WinOnCD) support the autoloader? I couldn't find anything in their documentation. We have two Nimbie11 USB to archive the content of CDs/DVDs. We have them for a year or so, and processed a couple of thousands of disks to this day. But one of the machines started to have problems with ejecting disks after successfully copying them -- discs get stuck quite often when unloaded. If I process the same set of disks with the other Nimbie, they go through okay, so I presume it is a maintenance issue. Could you please let me know if there is anything I could try to keep the machine happy for another few years?

QQripper:
I am using QQripper to rip audio cds along with Windows Media player. From time to time the process stalls, from observing the windows media window it appears the ripping is done(track list dissapears)but the disc is not fully ejected. When I remove the remaining discs in the loader, the disc is sitting in the tray like it is going to be loaded. Since there are several pieces of software between the windows media player and the Nimbie USB Plus, I would like to know if this is a software problem, or if the Nimbie is defective. I have been able to rip up to 25 or so CDs before the job stalls, but I am not able to rip anywhre near the 100 disc capacity of the Nimbie without manual intervention. To continue ripping I must shut down media player and QQripper and then power cycle the Nimbie. Has this sort of problem been reported previously? Thanks. Regards, Chris.

I have just start using our new NB21 and I have a problem. When ejecting some discs, the tray of the disc drive will not close to allow the ejection of the disc. This results in the disc being loaded again and then rejected. This issue can last through a number of ejection cycles until the disc is finally ejected. The discs are all of a standard size, they are read and copied without any issue, they are not damaged or sticky. The device is being controlled through a Mac Pro running a Bootcamp Windows 7 pro, I am using the QQBox ver. 3.5.0.4 the unit's serial No is 7115112121834. I am specifically using the Disc to HDD utility. NB21 driver is 1.1.1.1, the disc drive is a Pioneer BDR206 using a microsoft 6.1.7601.17514 driver. Autorun has been set to "no action" for all options. I can copy 4 or 5 discs before the issue starts and this makes the NB21 unusable for the purpose it was purchased for. I hope you can help. Hello, I'm running the Disc to Image mode - with sequential numbering filenames (disk_1.iso, disk_2, ...) Disc errors seem to cause the NIMBIE auto-loader to get stuck into an endless retry state. The software/hardware will be stuck trying to read a single disc for over 24 hours. The software doesn't seem to force a rejection state for that bad disc. Cancelling the job doesn't work because the app tried to complete the job. 1) Is there a way to set or lower the retry count for bad sector reads? 2) Is there a way to set a failed read count which will auto-reject a disc? 3) Is there a way to force an immediate job cancel? Currently, if you kill the task it jams up the unit and can even cause Windows to crash. Les

My telephone number is 650-743-5975. The disk loader/drop mechanism on my new Nimbie is jamming on two disks. It does not happen everytime. Please pardon my lack of proper terminology... I have ripped about 200 CDs using dBpoweramp Batch Ripper. Everything has been working great until the first time this happened when there were two disks jammed in the dropping mechanism. The first time it happened, there were about 70 disks in the input hopper. Now it happens quite frequently. I can't run through even 20 disks with 50 in the input hopper without a failure. I have tried using multiple different CDs. It seems like one of the three nylon spools that control the disk drop has skipped a tooth on the gear mechanism. Is this possible? If so, is it possible for me to fix it? I'm on a tight deadline for my current ripping project so I need a fix as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your help. TR

Also, does the Nimbie need to be plugged into a computer, or can I connect it to an external hard drive and let it go from there? Thanks for your time, Brian

Nimbie Sidekick NK50V:
Hi, my NK50V works strange. When I turn it on, it slides the disc caddy fully out so it cannot come back. It is probably hard to explain, if you want, I may take a short video for you so you will see what happens. After it is fully out, the led starts to blink red. The NK50V will not initialize for use in Windows. I have it for about 4 years, I changed the disc caddy about 3 times (I have spare caddy ordered from you). Please help! Thanks, Radovan

After ripping over 50 cds, my nimbie NT11 has suddenly stopped dropping cds into the tray. I restart, unplug the USB, and go through other random motions to get this thing started again to no avail. Suggestions? THANKS

Nimbie Sidekick NK50V:
Is this compatible with any current Epson printer? The Epson P50/T50 etc are no longer manufactured by Epson. It would be good to know as one of mine already does not work with the sidekick (DVD's get continuously jammed and I suspect the carriage is not moving up correctly into the DVD printing position). Thanks John

Nimbie USB Plus:
Hi there I would like your help with something please. About a year ago I bought a Nimbie USB Plus to back up my 1300+ CD collection to something I could load onto my mp3 player. I works very well. I work overseas and would like to make copies of some of my DVD collection to take with me on a hard drive for the two month trip. Can I use the Nimbie to do this and if so with what software please? Many thanks Dave

Nimbie USB:
Hello, I've connected my Nimbie USB to my Macbook Pro (2016) and started QQGetTry. But the software says "No devices found". All three LEDs (2-4) despite "Error" of the Nimbie are on, there seems to be no Error. According to the System Informations software from macOS, the USB device is connected ("NT21"). I've also tried to start Windows 10 inside Parallels, installed the Windows driver and started QQRipper. But this doesn't work, too. QQRipper is stuck in "Initializing". I've connected Nimbus on different USB connectors and using different USB-A to USB-C connectors. Doesn't work. Additionally, I've connected the Nimbus to a different computer, a Macbook Air. It doesn't work, too. On both computers I'm using macOS Sierra 10.12.3. Please give me an advise, what's wrong. Best regards, Alexander Mayer

1st complaint, if you enter info in this box and submit captcha incorrectly, you have to start over as I am doing now. Originally I had windows 7 installed and upgraded to windows 10 when released, had no problems/issues with Nimbie Pro Plus. Due to hard drive failure I had to install windows 10 from scratch. I've installed dbpoweramp and apps including Nimbie v5 driver but windows says "NT21 Driver is unavailable", how do I fix this?

I'm looking to batch rip Blu-Rays but its a bit unclear as to which software is able to do that for Mac. I am going to use XLD for music CD's but am trying to rip my BluRay collection as ISO's or MKV's Are you able to point me in the right direction? I just bought a USB Plus from Media Supply and may have just needed a regular Nimbie USB Thanks
